The Dir, Human Resources is accountable for strategic leadership and generalist activities to assigned business unit(s). This position leverages field support resources, corporate HR specialty functions, collaborative planning, integrated and influential business partnerships with various Home Services leadership functions. This position leverages the HR matrix support groups to ensure balanced, strategic decision making.

Job Requirements

• Ensures effective deployment of people strategies, including recruiting, performance management, and talent management.
• Provides disciplined leadership to team, inlcuding setting clean expectations and holding the team and self accountable for results.
• Coaches business partners to ensure knowledge and understanding of Human Resources initiatives, processes and policies and procedures
• Mobilizes HR specialty areas (compensation, training, organization development, recruiting, etc) when needed to address business issues.
• Partners with business leaders to ensure leadership development at all levels.
• Leads the performance management process to drive business results. Ensure that development plans are in place to develop and prepare growth and talent.
• Use data to analyze people trends to develop targets strategies and tactics to address gaps and opportunities
• Partners with Legal, Fair Employment, Labor Relations, Compensation and Benefits to develop plans and/or resolve issues
• Ensures appropriate development of and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Leads key HR projects nationwide and/or direct project teams.
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates.
